Who We Are

The University Area Enrichment Association works to improve quality of life for people who live, work, attend school, worship, and volunteer in the neighborhoods surrounding The Ohio State University. We identify local manifestation of global problems and then utilize local resources to create holistic solutions that can be replicated. We do this by supporting individuals in the community to implement the good ideas they already have.

Come visit us! Our offices are located in the old Chapel of Summit on 16th United Methodist Church at the northeast corner of 16th Avenue and Waldeck at 82 East 16th Avenue, Columbus, Ohio 43201

Traveling by bus?
Both COTA (www.cota.com) and CABS (http://tp.osu.edu/cabs/trip.shtml) have mutilple bus stops less than 2 blocks from our office door!

Traveling by bike?
There is a bike rack immediately in front of the building, and various other places to lock up around the building. Need to bring your bike inside? Make arrangements with Catherine.

Traveling by foot?
Sidewalks abound! This area offers some of the most interesting and beautiful waking routes in the City. A thriving business strip less than a block west, a beautiful ravine a block and a half north.

Traveling by car?
We understand, sometimes you have to. The easiest place to park is at one of the 30 parking meters on the west side of the building. If you are lucky enough to find free parking on the street, read the signs, towing is enforced. In desperate situations, check in at the church business office to see if there is space available in the church parking lot.
